Nicholas Ryan Nettles, known by all as “Nick”, age 18, of Warrenville, entered into rest Wednesday evening, November 15, 2017, in Graniteville.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:30pm Sunday afternoon, November 19, 2017, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Ehrhardt. The Reverend Mike Lupo officiating. Interment will follow in Little Swamp United Methodist Churchyard, War Eagle Road, Ehrhardt.
Born February 7, 1999, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, he was a son of John Donald Nettles and Jennifer Leigh Rentz. He worked with the chip crew as a groundman for Carolina Tree Care. Nick enjoyed hard work and working with his hands. He loved being outside and hunting.
Surviving are: his parents: John Donald Nettles and Katie Nettles of Warrenville and Jennifer Leigh Rentz of Ehrhardt; a sister, Caitlin Christina Nettles Risher and her husband Eddie and their child, “Junior” Risher of Walterboro; a step-brother, Avery Jordan of Warrenville; his grandparents, Donna Jean Searson of Ruffin, John Daniel Nettles of St. George, and Donnie and Teressa Dooley of Graniteville; and his great grandmother, Beverly Searson of Smoaks.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation Sunday afternoon prior to the funeral ceremony beginning at 2 o’clock in THE BRICE W.
