Biography

Mrs. Nellie Creel Doyle, 80, of Heavy Feather Lane, Cottageville, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Oakbrook Health Center. She was the widow of William John Doyle.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Little Rock Holiness Church with Reverend Dr. John Glenn Creel officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Doyle was born February 9, 1931 in Cottageville and was a daughter of the late Elick Creel and Mary Jane Creel. She was a member of Little Rock Holiness Church. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, mother-in-law, friend and confidant who was truly loved by all by who knew her.

Surviving are: her children, Edmond Doyle of Myrtle Beach, Ronnie Doyle of Cottageville, Deborah Shields of Moultrie, Georgia, Deloris Muckenfuss of Walterboro and Darlene Russell of Ridgeville; brothers, Johnny Creel of Cottageville, Roosevelt Creel of Cottageville, Hubert Creel of Summerville and Roy Creel of Walterboro; sisters, Lurine Creel of Ridgeville, Linda Lee of Lake City and Thelma Creel of Walterboro; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Donnie Doyle and Richard Doyle; daughter, Donna Jean Doyle; and brothers, E.W. Creel and Jimmy Creel.
