Nancy Mcclellan

Ms. Nancy Lynn Polk McClellan, 51, of 732 Cayce Road, Lodge, died surrounded by her loving family Saturday morning, December 6, 2008, at her residence under the care of Palmetto Hospice of Bamberg.



Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Monday afternoon, December 8, 2008, from Ashton Baptist Church, 3761 Willow Swamp Road, Islandton with The Revered Danny Fogle officiating. Interment will follow in Ashton Cemetery.



Nancy was born November 4, 1957, in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late Faber Mouzon Polk, Sr. and the late Ida Elizabeth Griffin Polk. She had attended Ashton Baptist Church and will be remembered for her love of good Southern Cooking and her pets.



Surviving are: her siblings, Connie Polk Dixon of Lodge, Faber Mouzon Bubba Polk, II of Lodge, and Betty Vickie Polk Cotterman and her husband Bob of Beaufort; and her aunt, Mrs. Miriam Polk Ponds and her husband Joe of Islandton. There are two nephews and a niece, Wesley Linder, Jamie Cummings, and Nicki Blackburn that also survives. She was preceded in death by two nephews, Faber Mouzon Polk, III and Cayce Mitchell Groves.



Flowers will be accepted, or for those that wish, the family has suggested that memorials be directed in her memory to: Palmetto Hospice of Bamberg, Post Office Box 1123, Bamberg, South Carolina 29003.
