Nancy Prescott Hunnewell

Ms. Nancy Jean Prescott Hunnewell, 67, of West Columbia, entered into eternal rest Friday morning, September 8, 2023, at Lowcountry Community Hospice House in Summerville.

Born March 23, 1956, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Harvey Leon Prescott and Hazel Benton Robertson.  Nancy was a hard worker and excellent cook who was known for making the best homemade cheesecakes.  She was an amazing mother, sister, and grandmother who loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are: her children, Allen Beach (Melissa), Anthony Vaughan, Jonathan Vaughan, and April Vaughan; sisters, Sharon Hiers (Herbert) and Mildred Robertson; brothers, Tarris Prescott and Harvey Prescott; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Hunnewell; and sisters, Rebecca Prescott and Pamela Prescott.
