Mrs. Myrtle Polk Hilton, 83, of Hilton Hall Lane, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 4, 201. She was the widow of Mr. Ernest Cecil Hilton.
Funeral services will be held 11 o'clock, Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel, with The Reverend Dr. Randy C. Gardner officiating. Interment will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, Charleston.
Mrs. Hilton was born March 14, 1928 in Charleston, SC and was a daughter of the late Wyvus Polk and Mattie Sineath Polk. She was a retired Director of State Teller Operations for Southern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Walterboro and was also a member of the Southern Bell Telephone Pioneers.
Surviving are: her children, Annette Losey and her husband Rick of Mount Pleasant, Dianne Good and her husband Williams of Summerville and Lynn Jones and her husband Jack of Walterboro; sister, Odessa Bryan of Walterboro; brothers, Buddy Polk and Ronnie Polk, both of Statesboro, Georgia; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
