Murry Creel

Mr. Murry Rogers Creel, 62, of 7671 Rehoboth Road, Cottageville, died Friday evening, July 31, 2009, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.



Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Tuesday morning, August 4, 2009, from Little Rock Holiness Church, 20991 August Highway, Cottageville with The Reverend Dr. J. Glen Creel officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard.



Born March 20, 1947 in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Walter and Ida M. Creel. He was a former heavy equipment operator, was of the Holiness faith, and will be remembered for his love of family and fishing.



Surviving are: his wife of forty-three years, Mrs. Dianne Blas Creel; two sons, Frank Rogers Creel and Rocky Jay Creel both of Cottageville; four brothers, James Creel of Jedburg, Walter Creel, Jr., Clyde Creel, and Esdorn Creel all of Cottageville; five grandchildren, Marina Creel, Mia Creel, Jaylin Creel, Taylor Creel, and Timothy Creel; as well as twenty-four nieces and nephews.
