Mr. Moody Carlisle Warren, affectionately known by many as Carl, 74, of 405 Pineview Drive, Goose Creek, entered into his state of eternal rest Friday morning, February 4, 2011, at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.



Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Sunday afternoon, February 6, 2011, from the graveside at Zion Baptist Churchyard, 152 Ruffin Road, Walterboro.



The family will receive friends following the committal ceremony at the churchyard.



Mr. Warren was born April 4, 1936, in Colleton County, South Carolina and was a son of the late Moody Postell Warren and the late Gertrude Strickland Warren. He dedicated his life and career to fire service. He was a retired Fireman having first retired from the City of Charleston. He then stated with the Charleston Naval Shipyard working there until his second retirement. He was a member of his familys church where he was raised in Christ, Zion Baptist Church in Walterboro. He will be fondly remembered for the many trips he made to Jacksonville, Flordia to attend the dog races; as well as his joy and talent at bowling.



Surviving are: a brother, Bobby D. Warren of Goose Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
