Ms. Monica Sue King, 59, of Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Friday evening, October 25, 2024, at Colleton Medical Center.
Born September 10, 1965, in Noblesville, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Robert Eugene Staton and Barbara Huffman Ritchey. She was a medical assistant, having worked for Charleston Hematology and Oncology as well as Dr. Sanjay Kumar’s office in Walterboro for many years. She loved her old school Rock-n-Roll music, enjoyed going to the beach, loved horses, and going on motorcycle rides in the mountains, especially during the fall season. She especially loved her family and spending time with her grandsons.
Surviving are: her children, William Alexander King and his wife Telamarie Morris of Walterboro and Kristen Nicole King and her husband Zachary Smith of Ruffin; grandsons, Chase King, Levi King, and Wyatt Smith; and brothers, Mike Staton of Ridgeville and Mark Staton of Charleston. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carey King; and her companion, Bruce Ramey.
