Minnie Cook Breland

Mrs. Minnie Cook Breland, age 65, of Lodge, entered into eternal rest Tuesday morning, June 21, 2016, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Saturday morning, June 25, 2016, from Carter’s Ford Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the churchyard.
Born January 16, 1951, in Hampton County, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Bill Cook and the late Wilma Nettles Cook. She was a parts manager at Blanchard Equipment in Orangeburg. She was known for her strong work ethic and next to her family, her job was her life. She enjoyed camping and was a member of Carter’s Ford Baptist Church.
Surviving are: her husband, Mr. Walter E. Breland, Sr.; two sons, Walter E. Breland, Jr., (Melanie) of Ruffin and Jason Edward Breland (Shanna) of Lodge; a grandson, Elijah Jace Breland; a brother, Charles Cook of Ruffin; and two sisters, Faye Williams of Lodge and Raye Murdaugh of Walterboro.
