Mr. Milton Ezra Stanley, 65, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday afternoon, September 30, 2014, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Funeral services will be conducted 4 o'clock Friday afternoon, October 3, 2014, from the graveside at Black Creek Baptist Churchyard, 4931 Black Creek Road, Walterboro. The Reverend Tony Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral ceremony beginning at 3 o'clock that afternoon at the cemetery.

Born September 3, 1949, a native of Colleton County, he was a son of the late Manley Jim Stanley and the late Mattie Idell Sheppard Stanley. He retired from Connelly Logging and will be fondly remembered for his love of the outdoors. He loved fishing, singing, farming, welding, and wood crafting. He was a westerner at heart who loved reading about the old west and watching western movies.

Surviving are: his four children, Santon Stanley, Oliver R. Stanley, Milton Cal Stanley, and Janice M. Stanley Vazquez all of Walterboro; and four sisters, Frances Pendarvis of Harleyville, Althea O'Quinn, Jeanette Stanley, and Mattie Stanley all of Walterboro. There are four grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Homer Stanley, Carl Stanley and Ralph Stanley; and by two sisters, Margie Dropps and Mae Broadaway.
