Michelle Lorraine Russell

Mrs. Michelle Buchko Russell, 62, of Varnville, entered into eternal rest Friday, July 4, 2025, at her residence under the care of Amedysis Hospice.

Born July 20, 1962, in Trenton, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Richard Andres Buchko and Sallyann Ranger Buchkon.  She was member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hampton.  Michelle dearly loved her family, friends, and her animals.  She was an avid sports fan of hockey and football.

Surviving are: her husband of 45 years, Joseph Leo Russell of Varnville; children, Holly Russell, Marsha Russell, Jessica Russell, and Joseph Russell, Jr.; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Richard Buchko and Michael Buchko; and sister, Therese Buchko.  She was preceded in death by her son Richard Russell and two sisters, Sallyann Athen and Jean Marie Goeble.

A luncheon will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 12:00 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 703 5th St E, Hampton, SC 29924.
