Michael Dykes

Mr. Michael Anthony Dykes, 60, of Brunson, entered into rest Saturday afternoon, March 25, 2023, at Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Born April 16, 1962 in Alexandria, Virginia, he was a son of the late Oscar Lee Dykes and Joyce Farmer Dykes.  He was a retired truck driver and loved hunting, fishing and crabbing.  He attended Brunson Baptist Church.  He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are: his wife, Wendy Elaine Belger Dykes; stepsons, Benjamin Clarence Crapse (Tamra) and Chad Garrett Crapse (Marie); step daughter, Emmie Shyanne Blaze McCollough; brothers, Oscar Lee Dykes, III and Oscar Leroy Dykes; sisters, Laura, Anita, and Lisa; and 9 grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
