Walterboro, South Carolina

With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the passing of Meagan Lee Williams Crapse, who left us far too soon on May 20, 2026, at the age of 29.

Meagan’s life was a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of unconditional love, boundless generosity, and an infectious joy that illuminated every room she entered. Her radiant spirit and beautiful smile were a constant source of comfort and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

For the past two and a half years, Meagan dedicated her energy and talent to her career at Mercedes Benz Vans. It was there that she not only excelled but also forged cherished friendships that enriched her life and the lives of her colleagues, lovingly known as her "Cock-pit crew."

Meagan’s remarkable compassion found its purest expression in her profound love for animals. Her home was a haven, a cherished sanctuary that welcomed countless pets over the years, each receiving her unwavering care and affection. Whether dedicating her time to rescue efforts or simply opening her heart and home to a creature in need, Meagan embodied a selfless devotion. This beautiful legacy of empathy for all living things was lovingly instilled in her husband and four sons, ensuring their lives were continually enriched by the companionship and boundless joy of their furry friends. Her loyal three-legged companion, Lucky, the sole furry survivor from her beloved animal family, also mourns her passing.

Above all, Meagan was a pillar of her family — a devoted wife, an incredible mother, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and aunt. Her unwavering dedication to nurturing those around her defined her existence. She shared 13 years of loving marriage with her soulmate, Hunter Crapse, and was the guiding light and cherished mother to her four adored sons: Mason (11), Carson (9), Mickey (8), and Gunnar (4). Her boys were the absolute center of her universe. Meagan’s enduring spirit lives on through her beloved husband and their sons.

In addition to her husband and her boys, Meagan is deeply missed by her devoted in-laws, Jesse and Trudy Crapse, whom not only shared a home and life but also loved Meagan as a daughter; as well as those she shared a close bond with and will hold her memory dear: her brother-in-law, Jesse Crapse, III (Danielle); sister-in-law, Storm Cook (Zeek); uncle, Kevin G. Crapse; her cherished nieces, Rayleigh, Seagan, and Ivery; and nephews, Connor and Jayden.

Meagan is survived by her aunt and uncle, Chrissy and Zack Milsap, who helped raise Meagan and loved her as their first child as she brought them so much joy; her beloved first cousins, Jack and Molly Milsap, who she had a loving relationship with; her grandmother, Minnie “Granny” Bolton, who always taught Meagan to turn lemons into lemonade.

Also left to cherish Meagan’s memory is her mother, Charlotte Williams (James); her siblings, Scott Williams (Kaylee) and Caitlin Williams (Trey); step-grandmother, Leila Bolton; as well as a wide circle of extended aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Beyond her family, Meagan leaves behind a heartbroken circle of close friends, including Soraima Sequera and Jessica Ferguson (Ray), and her "Cock-pit crew" at Mercedes, all of whom experienced her unwavering support and infectious laughter.

Meagan now rests in eternal peace, undoubtedly reunited with her beloved Great Dane, Luna, and the myriad of other cherished pets who crossed the rainbow bridge before her. She was preceded in death by her much-loved rainbow baby; her grandfather, James Edward "Blue" Bolton; and her uncle, Marion Carl "Mac" Bolton, whose memories she held close to her heart.

Meagan's vibrant intelligence, profound inner and outer beauty, and truly boundless generosity of spirit will forever serve as an enduring inspiration, a testament to a life lived with extraordinary love and grace.
