Mauro Melendez, 60, of Demark, South Carolina, entered into rest Tuesday morning, June 16, 2015, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Born January 15, 1955 in Mexico, he was a son of Epitacio Melendez and Gregoria Hernandez Losoya. He was a crew supervisor for various agricultural businesses and was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Survivors include: his wife, Maria de Jesus Alvarado Leon; five children, David Melendez, Jose G. Melendez, Lucinda Melendez, Rigo Melendez, and Isaac Melendez. He was preceded in death by a son, Mauro Melendez, Jr.
The family will receive friends during visitation from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock this Thursday evening, June 18, 2015, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Ehrhardt-Bamberg Chapel, 803.267.1971.
