Maude Castor

Mrs. Maude Martin Castor, 92, of Walterboro, died Friday, May 3, 2013 at Pepperhill Nursing Facility in Aiken. She was the widow of Lester Castor.

Graveside funeral services will be held 3 pm, Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Doctor’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Castor was born October 23, 1920 in Walterboro and was a daughter of the late Bradie Martin and Gertrude Nettles Martin. She was a member of Doctor’s Creek Baptist Church and will be remembered for her love of her cats and working with her flowers.

Surviving are: her daughter-in-law, Joyce Castor of Walterboro; grandsons, Bobby Castor and Scotty Castor of Walterboro; sister-in-law, Hazel Martin of Danielsville, Georgia; and nieces and nephew, Rita Fay Smallwood, Jerry Martin and Linda Dickson, all of Georgia. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Castor; a brother, Wilder Martin; and a nephew, Eddie Martin.
