Matthew Wiggins

Mr. Matthew Jonathan Wiggins, 37, of Lodge, entered into rest Friday, December 20, 2024.

Born September 25, 1987, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of Benjamin Michael Wiggins and Elizabeth Padgett Wiggins.   He worked in construction and will always be remembered as a “Jack of All Trades”.   He dearly loved fishing and being with family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his parents of Lodge are: his son, Logan Wiggins; two sisters, Michelle Wiggins of Lodge and Lindsey Hiers (Bobby) of Lodge; his grandmother, Geneva Strickland of Lodge; nieces and nephews, Austin Dyches, Gabby Dyches, Candice Dyches, Naomi Dyches, Benjamin Freeman, Landyn Hiers, Addisyn Hiers, and Brantley Hiers; and his fiancee, Jennifer Rizer; as well as a large and loving host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon, January 3, 2025, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.   The family will receive friends following the funeral service.
