Mary Sinclair

Mrs. Mary Sinclair, 67, of Varnville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning, December 2, 2021, at her residence.

Born April 22, 1954, in Hampton County, she was a daughter to the late Mr. Willie Hamilton Davis, Sr.  and the late Mrs. Mary Easter Helmes.  Mary loved her God and loved her church.  She enjoyed many hobbies, especially gardening.  She was the Sunday School teacher for many years at Church of God in Nixville where she enjoyed teaching the children.  Mary was known by many as a helping person, who would certainly help anyone in need.

She is survived by: her husband, Dwight H. Sinclair of Varnville; her sister, Willa Steen; her nieces, Sharon Steen, Sandra Miller and Michelle Carroll; a great nephew, Brandon Harris; great nieces, Passion Mixon, Tiffany Moseley, Rebecca Mixon, Lisa Lee, Sabrina Carroll, Chasity Harris, Dawn Harris, Ariel Harris and Ashley Harris; and great-great nieces and nephews, Kayden Hadwin, Arianna Freeman, Kayden Clark and Michael Clark.

Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock  Saturday afternoon, December 4, 2021, at the Nixville Church of God of Prophecy, 834 Furman-Nixville Parkway, Estill.  Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1 o’clock until the hour of service in the church sanctuary.
