Biography

Mrs. Mary Lee Warren Shieder, 73, of Log Cabin Lane, Smoaks, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 4 pm, Friday, October 28, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Smoaks Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Shieder was born December 5, 1937 in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late LeRoy Warren and Carrie Brothers Warren. She was member of the Smoaks Church of God of Prophecy, where she was an active with many church functions. She was devoted to helping others, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are: her children, Ronnie Bennett and wife Doris of Cottageville, Tinker Bennett and wife Kathy of Aiken, Terry Bennett and wife Beth Anne of Walterboro and Tammy Wolf of Lodge; grandchildren, Austin Wolf, Dakota Wolf and Judy Anne Bennett; sister, Minnie Dewitt of Ruffin; and a very special cousin and caregiver, Evelyn Robertson of Smoaks. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
