Mary Moseley

Mrs. Mary Cook Moseley, 86, of Hampton, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Ridgeland Nursing Center.  She was the wife of the late Brantley Moseley, Sr.

Born February 10, 1937, in Hampton, she was a daughter of the late John Lovette Cook and Viola Nettles Cook.  She was a Christian lady who loved going to church.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hampton and attended West End Baptist Church.  She loved her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are: children, Brantley Moseley, Jr., Steve Moseley, Elaine Smith, and Nancy Miller, all of Hampton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Catherine Crosby; granddaughters, Brandy Moseley and Sylvia Crosby; and her brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Monday morning, January 29, 2024, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Varnville. Interment will follow in Sandy Run Cemetery, Sandy Run Road, Hampton.
