Mary Lyons

Mrs. Mary Reardon Lyons, 53, South West Railroad Avenue in Saint George, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, March 10, 2013, at her residence.

Born March 18, 1959, a native of Walterboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late George Carroll Reardon and the late Alma Jean Pinckney Reardon. She was a member of Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Walterboro. She will be fondly remembered for her love of the outdoors, animals, and gardening.

Surviving are: a son, Wendell Lyons, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Walterboro; a daughter, Heather Hicks and her boyfriend Robert Fuller of Walterboro; two brothers, John Strickland and Hugh Strickland; and three sisters, Nancy Strickland Berelce, Kathie Ard, and Gloria Jean Todd. There are three grandchildren, Kimberly Renee Hicks, Brantley Logan Lyons, and Timothy Blake Lyons.
