Mrs. Mary Bell Knudsen, 98, entered into rest Sunday evening, October 29, 2017, at her home near Walterboro.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Friday morning, November 3, 2017, from Sandy Dam United Methodist Church, 3422 Charleston Highway, Walterboro. The Reverend Jay Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the churchyard.
Born September 30, 1919, in Manning, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Julius Riley Bell and the late Susan Edna Richbourg Bell. She was a retired Long Distance Operator for AT&T and was a member of Sandy Dam United Methodist Church.
Surviving are: her husband, Mr. Percy Neils Knudsen; a son, Henry Furman Branham of Spartanburg; two daughters, Mary Roddey of Columbia and Cathy Branham of Walterboro; a brother, Olin Bell of Lexington; a sister, Eunice Lee of Lexington; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
