WALTERBORO- Mrs. Mary S. Hiott, 73, of 215 Hiott Lane, Walterboro, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at her residence.
Graveside funeral services will be held 6 oclock, Tuesday evening, August 11, 2009 at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Mrs. Hiott was born May 14, 1936 in Sumter and was a daughter of the late Albertis M. Stone and Fannie Jennings Stone. She was a retired supervisor from Vestra Manufacturing. Always known as a hardworking and loving mother, she loved her animals, loved to read and loved walking on the beach.
Surviving are: her children, J. Richard Hiott, Jr. and his wife Christine, Kenneth Harold Hiott, Ronald Dale Hiott and his wife Cheryl, Julie Ann Hiott, Andy Monroe Hiott and Susan Kay Beach, all of Walterboro; brother, Edward Stone of Walterboro; and sister, Sarah Phillips of Jamestown. There are twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews to include Sandra Marie Padgett of Walterboro and Bonnie Campbell of Tocoma, Washington; and a granddaughter-in-law, Kristian Hiott.
