Biography
Mrs. Mary Ann Carter Dannelly, 80, of Ehrhardt, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 13, 2014 at her residence. She was first married to James Willie Wilson and was the widow of Jess L. Dannelly.
Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Hunter's Chapel Baptist Church, 9375 Hunter's Chapel Road, Bamberg. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Born February 19, 1934 in Bamberg County, she was a daughter of the late Ben Tillman Carter and Ethel Strickland Carter. She was the bookkeeper for Herndon Stockyards for over 25 years. She was then employed by Brabham Oil Company and Bamberg County Courthouse. She was a member of Hunter's Chapel Baptist Church and the Ehrhardt Garden Club.
Surviving are: her son, James Kendall "Ken" Wilson (Libby); granddaughters, Kendall Elizabeth Wilson and Haley Nicole Wilson; great granddaughter, Shylah Nicole Smith; brother, Marvin "Doc" Carter (Phyllis); sisters-in-law, Orene Carter and Pat Carter; cousins, Walter Carter and Billy Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
