Mary Bennett Williams

Mrs. Mary Frances Bennett Williams, 75, of Varnville, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning, June 4, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert Eugene Williams, Sr.

Born July 25, 1950, in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Allen Bennett and Lela Bennett. She was a member of Deep Branch Baptist Church. Mary always loved helping others and loved animals.

Surviving are: her sons, Robert Eugene Williams, Jr. and Gregory Scott Williams, both of Varnville. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Allen Bennett; as well as two infant siblings.

Graveside funeral services will be held 3 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, June 7, 2026, at Gooding Cemetery, Sandy Run Road, Hampton.
