Mr. Marvin Eder, 90, of Walterboro, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Medical University of South Carolina. He was the husband of the late Adele Eisenblatt Eder.
Mr. Eder was born October 22, 1931 in Manhattan, New York and was a retired plumbing contractor. In his early years, he was a well-known body builder and weightlifter, always combining Olympic lifting and weightlifting. He achieved many goals and won numerous titles. Known as “The Biceps from the Bronx”, a few of his titles and winnings include: Mr. Eastern America, World’s Strongest Youth, Mr. America, and Mr. New York City.
Surviving are: his son, Dr. Stuart A. Eder and his wife Lisa of Walterboro; grandchildren, Caitlin Eder, Neil Eder, Daniel Garnsey and his wife Shannon, and Blakney Garnsey; and great grandchildren, Jameson, Xander, and Hannah.
