Martin Nicholas Richard, Jr.

Mr. Martin Nicholas Richard, Jr. , 63, of Ruffin, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family Saturday evening, December 19, 2020.

Born February 22, 1957, in Christian County, Kentucky, he was a son to Mr. Martin N. Richard, Sr. and the late Mrs. Astrid Bessie Johnson.  He was definitely known as a family man, if he wasn’t working, he was staying home with his family.  He graduated with honors from the Beaufort Technical Institute with a degree in Electronic Engineering.  He was a “Jack of all trades” and could fix anything electronic related if he got his hands on it.   Mr. Richard had a love for motorcycles and riding his Harley Davison and Iron Head were among a few of his favorite hobbies in his spare time.

In addition to his father, he is survived by, his son, Kenneth Richard (Jennifer) of Ruffin; daughters, Brandy Dean (Zack) of Florida and Kristen Richard of Florida;  grandchildren, Jacob Richard Alison Richard, Alayna Dean, Wesley Dean and one grandchild on the way;  he is also survived by a brother, Wayne Richard of Charlotte and sister, Cheryl Yearwood of Greenville.
