Mrs. Martha S. Barker, 80, of Ruffin, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Vibra Hospital in Mount Pleasant.
Funeral services will be held 10 am, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Community Baptist Church, 15943 Bells Highway, Lodge. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Born November 30, 1936 in Timmonsville, she was a daughter of the late William Andrew Frederick Schumacher and Virginia Drew Schumacher. She was a retired teacher with Colleton County School District and was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Surviving are: her husband, Allan Fredric Barker of Ruffin; children, Frederick Wayne Franks of Moncks Corner and Virginia Jane Franks of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Len Franks.
