Mark Breland

Mr. Mark Anthony Breland, 55, of Fire Hill Road, Walterboro, entered into rest Thursday afternoon, October 30, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, November 4, 2014, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Ralph Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Doctor’s Creek Baptist Churchyard, 126 Doctor’s Creek Road, Walterboro.

Born January 1, 1959, a native of Colleton County, he was a son of the late Julius Augustus Breland, Jr. and the late Mary Lee Robertson Breland. He worked in the construction industry and will be fondly remembered for his love of fishing.

Surviving are: a daughter, Kathy Lee Ann Breland of Chillicothe, Ohio; a brother, Timothy D. Breland of Abbeville; and two sisters, Kathryn Pace of Spartanburg and Cheryl Vogel of Sumter. There is one granddaughter, Kyleigh J. Lynn Breland. He was followed closely in death by his brother and best friend, Julius Augustus “Dulie” Breland, III.
