Mrs. Marilyn Crosby Turner, 72, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday afternoon, November 3, 2024, at Colleton Medical Center.
Born October 18, 1952, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of Katherine Ryan Crosby and the late George Russell Crosby. She was a loan assistant at Express Check Advance. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Marilyn enjoyed reading and going to the beach and especially loved her cat, Houdini.
Surviving are: her mother, Katherine Crosby of Walterboro; daughter-in-law, Julie Ann Craven of Walterboro; sister, Theresa Crosby (Jerry) of Walterboro; grandchildren, Kaitlynn Craven, Mackenzie Craven (Tanner Stone), Asheland Craven (Morgan Hall); and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friend, Marcie of Barnwell. She was preceded in death by the three loves of her life, Alvin Greer Craven, Jim Turner, and Clark Stevens; her two sons, Timothy Alvin Craven and Russell Tillman Craven; and her brother, Ted Crosby.
Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, November 7, 2024, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Welch Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 536 Welch Creek Road, Walterboro.
