Maria Mizell

Mrs. Anna Maria Mizell, 55, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday evening, May 12, 2026, at Colleton Medical Center.

Born November 26, 1970, in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Bernard Matthew Oliver and Annie Ruth Benton Oliver. Maria was an avid animal lover and centered her life around her family.

Surviving are: her husband of 25 years, Michael Dale Mizell of Walterboro; her parents, Bernard and Annie Ruth Oliver of Walterboro; children, Austin Matthew Mizell and Toby Alexander Mizell, both of Walterboro; her dogs who were her “daughters”, Emily and Madison; sister, Rosilynn Oliver Harmon (Harley); brother, Bernard Matthew Oliver, II; and a host of extended family.
