Margie Elaine Kinard Pellum

Mrs. Margie Elaine Kinard Pellum, 68, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Monday afternoon, January 18, 2021 at her residence.

Born August 3, 1952 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of Margie Elaine Hiers Kinard and the late Ralph Rendle Kinard, Sr. She was an Administrative Assistant for Triarco Industries.  She had worked as an insurance agent for Peoples Security and had traveled with American Studios-Southeast.  She was a member of Harvest Church of Walterboro, where she loved singing and playing her guitar but most of all being active in her church work.  She was also a former Sunday School Teacher.  Margie loved to dance and was a member of the Beaufort Shag Club and also loved hunting and camping.  She always had a smile for anyone she met and most of all loved her family, spending time with them and loved having family dinners.

Surviving are: her mother, Elaine Kinard of Walterboro; husband, Reverend James Harold Pellum of Walterboro; children, Travis Corey Crozier and his wife Jenna of South Carolina and LaChrisa Lynn Ginn of Walterboro; brother, Ralph Rendle “Rendy” Kinard, Jr. of Walterboro; grandchildren, Corey Crozier, Sophia Crozier, Austin Ginn and his wife Jade, Calen Ginn, MacKenzie Pellum, Payton Pellum, and Avery Pellum; great grandchildren, Kyla Ginn and Maverick Ginn; nephew, Barry Kinard and his wife Joy of Greenwood; great nephews and nieces, Jordan Kinard and his wife Emily, Riley Kinard and Kendra Kinard.

Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, January 21, 2021 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery.
