Margie Jarrell

Mrs. Margie Lamar Mock Jarrell, 75, of Cat Branch Road, Early Branch, died Friday, September 24, 2010 at her residence. She was the widow of G.W. Jarrell, Sr.



Funeral services will be held 11 am, Monday, September 27, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.



Mrs. Jarrell was born January 18, 1935 in Jasper County and was a daughter of the late Florence Gertrude Mock. She was a member of Steep Bottom Baptist Church. She loved to fish; but will always be remembered for the love she had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.



Surviving are: her children, Dorothy Brunson (Wayne) of Early Branch, Darlene Jarrell of Varnville, Georgie Ann Jarrell of Grays, G.W. Bubba Jarrell, Jr. (Terry) of Early Branch and Ellen Crosby (Maurice) of Grays; grandchildren, Waynette MacNeir, Kirk DeLoach, Faye Lowther, Christopher Smith, Jennifer Nelson, Jessica Crosby, Amanda Crosby and Paige Jarrell; and great grandchildren, Kayla DeLoach, Clayton DeLoach, Abbie DeLoach, Kaisee Gibson, Kreylee Lowther, Kameron MacNeir, Cassie DeLoach and Kaiden MacNeir. She was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Mock; and sisters, Lila Morrison, Blanche Crosby and Kate Mock.
