Margaret Risher

WALTERBORO- Mrs. Margaret Howard Risher, 82, of Walterboro, SC, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home in Bainbridge, GA. She was the widow of Heyward T. Risher.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 oclock, Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Christian Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Risher was born December 5, 1925 in Dadeville, Alabama and was the daughter of Joseph Thomas Howard and Essie Mae Dennis Howard. She was a retired office manager for Colleton Regional Hospital and a member of Evergreen Christian Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Wynema Miles and husband Raymond; her granddaughter, Tammi Godwin and husband Lee; and her great-grandson, Tyler Godwin, all of Bainbridge, GA.
