Margaret Mears

Mrs. Margaret Ann Remley Mears, 54, of Hazel Street, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 2, 2010 at her residence after an extended illness.



A memorial service will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.



Margaret was born August 8, 1955 in Fort Benning, Georgia and was daughter of the late Lonnie Theodore Remley, Sr. and Marion Monroe Harris Remley. Margaret will be missed most by her loving husband and her children, who were the most important part of her life. Most of her life, she was as a homemaker, teaching her children and providing a comfortable home and wonderful meals. After her children entered school, she worked in landscaping at Chehaw Nursery, and later as an Office Manager for Billy Ackerman Landscaping. She will be dearly missed and always loved by all of her family and friends.



Surviving are: her husband, Paul Alan Mears of Walterboro; children, Justin Benjamin Mears of Walterboro and Jessica Mears Williams and her husband Christopher Lawrence Williams of Walterboro; sister, Alice Remley McMillan and her husband Fred of Green Pond; brother, Ted Remley and his wife Colleenn of Walterboro; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
