Mrs. Margaret Ann Lamb Crosby, 66, of Pooh Bear Lane, Ruffin, entered into rest Thursday afternoon, March 21, 2013, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Agape Hospice.
Funeral services will be conducted 4 oclock Sunday afternoon, March 24, 2013, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born January 10, 1947, a native of Florence County, South Carolina she was a daughter of the late Jerry Willie Lamb and the late Margueritte Anderson Lamb. She was a member of the Walterboro Church of God of Prophecy. She was active in many aspects of the churchs work, but was especially active as a Sunday School Teacher and Church Treasurer. She will be remembered for the love she deeply possessed for her family; as well as her talent and skill of sewing, gardening, flowers, and fishing.
Surviving are: her husband of forty-three years, Mr. Robert Jacob Crosby, Sr.; a son, Robert Jacob Crosby, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Chapin; a daughter, Lynn Crosby Smith and her husband Matt of Cottageville; a brother, Gerald Lamb and his wife Shirley of Walterboro; and two sisters, Mattie Frederickson and her husband Micheal of Nixville and Judy Vincent and her husband Larry of Ruffin. There are six grandchildren, Acadia, Adam, Tiffany, Joshua, Zoe, and Tatum; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that also survive.
