Mamie Sineath

Mrs. Mamie Jones Sineath, 92, of Mears Road, Islandton, entered into her state of eternal rest Friday, February 12, 2010. She was the widow of Mr. Joe Sineath.



Funeral services will be held 11 am, Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Adnah United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.



Mrs. Sineath was born July 7, 1917 in Islandton and was a daughter of the late Nathan Jones and Neta Catherine Walling Jones. She was a lifelong member of Adnah United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and working in her garden and canning the fruits and vegetables that she grew. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend.



Surviving are: her children, Joe G. Sineath and Ricky D. Sineath, both of Islandton; sisters, Ruth Sineath of Islandton and Gladys Howard of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Anthony, Sherrie, Shannon, Debbie, Richie and Lindsey; great grandchildren, Chase and Genesis; and great-great grandchildren, Hunter and Olivia. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters.
