Miss Mae Bell Herndon, 78, formerly of Walterboro, passed away Monday, May 20, 2016 at The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery, Forks Road, Islandton.
Born April 25, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Lee Herndon and Lizzie Priester Herndon. She was a lifelong member of Peniel Baptist Church. She loved dancing and going to the movies.
One of 10 children, she is survived by a sister, Ruth; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Janice Bowers; and many cousins.
