Mrs. Lynne OQuinn Bryan, 76, of Peniel Road, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Great Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Bryan was born September 8, 1936 in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late Winfred OQuinn and Mamie Ruth Drawdy OQuinn. She was a graduate of Hendersonville School and The Baptist Hospital in Columbia. She was a Registered Nurse for 40 years and retired from Colleton Medical Center. She was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church. She loved working in her garden, working with crafts and loved cooking for her family and friends.
Surviving are: her children, John Bryan and Greg Bryan, both of Walterboro; sister, Margaret Elizabeth OQuinn Muns and her husband Jim of Georgetown; aunt, Gloria Drawdy of Hanahan; special friends and caregivers, Tammy Wood Herndon of Green Pond and Lisa Needham of Walterboro; and special cousins, Gertrude OQuinn, David Drawdy, and Benny OQuinn, all of Walterboro.
The family would like to thank the staff of Agapé Hospice for the care given to Mrs. Lynne during her illness.
