Mrs. Lynn Bailey Ricker, age 62, a longtime resident of Cottageville, entered into rest Monday morning, January 18, 2021, at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She was the loving wife of the late Mr. Josiah Tillman Ricker.
Born February 3, 1958, in Savannah, Georgia, she was a daughter of Ernest Ray Bailey, Sr. and Frances Bailey Monette. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper, having worked at the former Stone Oil and the Walterboro Bilo. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Refuge Church.
Surviving are: six children, Rad McClendon, III, Ashley McClendon, Jon Paul “Mikey” McClendon, Brandon Phillips, Jenna Maxey, and Meagan Moran; her father, Ernest of St. George; her mother, Frances and her husband Andy of Walterboro; two brothers, Ray Bailey and Kevin Bailey; two sisters, Rena Smoak and Louise Player; fourteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 o’clock Friday afternoon, January 22, 2021, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Craig Crosby officiating. Interment will follow in Bedon Baptist Churchyard, 2410 Cottageville Highway, Walterboro.
