Mrs. Lynn Margaret Obrey-Davis, 43, of Scuffletwon Road near the Sniders Community of Ruffin, entered into rest Sunday evening, September 22, 2013, from injuries sustained during an automobile accident in Colleton County. She was the wife of the late Marshall Elwood Davis-Nettles.

A celebration of Lynn’s life will be conducted 6 o’clock Wednesday evening, September 25, 2013, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Lynn will be laid to rest during a family committal ceremony at Glendale Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony until 8 o’clock that evening in the Harbiston Stateroom of the Mortuary.

Born February 23, 1970, the daughter of Mr. Frank Clark Obrey and Mrs. Catherine Napier Obrey and a native of Derry, New Hampshire she made Walterboro her home since 2005. Lynn was a dedicated mother and loving friend. She centered her life around those she cared for and admired her two young sons whom she cherished more than anything else. She was a well known and a delightful employee at the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in North Charleston where she had faithfully worked for the past few years.

Surviving in addition to her parents, Frank and Catherine of Davenport, Florida are: two sons, Dylan Davis and Logan Davis of the home; two brothers, John Obrey and his wife Deanna of Derry, New Hampshire and Derek Obrey and his wife Miranda of Montpelier, Vermont. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Winning of Scotland and her father and mother-in-law, Marshall and Christine Walling Nettles of Walterboro.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to a fund which has been established in her memory for her two sons, donations may be made at Enterprise Bank, 776 Bells Highway, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
