Mrs. Carol “Lynn” Freymuth Nettles, 61, of Walterboro, loved the Lord and faced a devastating diagnosis with a rock-solid faith, reassuring everyone “Gods Got This”. She bravely fought pancreatic and liver cancer for a month before going to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of Friday, August 16, 2024. She never got angry, she never said why me, and she never once said she was scared. She kept saying “God’s Got This”
Born May 24, 1963, in Charleston, she was the daughter of Carolyn Newton Freymuth and the late Charles L. Freymuth. Lynn worked for the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles Walterboro office for 11 years and worked approximately 20 years in the Banking and Financial Industry. She then worked as the Branch Office Administrator for Edward Jones Investments in Summerville, which was her favorite job. Lynn was always good with people and willing to help anyone she could. She was a member of First Christian Church. Lynn was the most devoted wife and mother. She loved her family, and her heart was totally captured by her little man, her grandson Landon Michael Nettles.
Lynn was the beloved wife of Timothy M. “Tim” Nettles; mother of Ryan A. “Andy” Nettles; daughter of Carolyn Freymuth; grandmother of Landon Michael Nettles; and sister of Virginia “Ginny” Freymuth. She is also survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sheryl and Mendell Nettles of Ravenel; sister-in-law, Kathy Martin (Jim) of Hollywood, sister-in-law, Karen Holseberg (Robert) of Hanahan; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Nettles of Dover, Arkansas; nieces, Margaret Martin, Kaylee Holseberg, and Jody Snelgrove; and nephews, Jamie Martin and Tyler Holseberg (Hanah).
