Mrs. Lula Crews Wall, 87, of Cottageville, entered into eternal rest Friday morning, September 19, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Billy Eugene Wall, Sr.
Born September 22, 1937, in Hampton, she was the daughter of the late Archie Crews and Lila Crosby Crews. She was the retired owner and agent of Walls Realty and was a manager for Dollar General. She loved crocheting blankets, booties, and stockings for her children and grandchildren. She also loved shooting pool, decorating, crafting, and shopping. Lula was strong in her faith in Jesus and was a woman of incredible strength and determination. She loved her family and will be missed dearly.
Surviving are: her children, Brandy and Carsten Grooms of Cottageville, Lila and Jimmy Cook of Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina, Jeannie and Lamar Thompson of Thomson, Georgia, Brenda and Gary Lance of Kingsland, Georgia, and Donna and Kenny Churchhill of Lexington; 20 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Crystal Wall, Tina Marie Wall, and Desiree Wall; and her son, Billy Wall, Jr.
Funeral services will be held 5 o’clock, Monday evening, September 22, 2025, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
