Lucy Kyes Traynom

Mrs. Lucy Anna Kyes Traynom, age 79, of Cottageville, entered into rest Friday afternoon, January 14, 2022, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born December 24, 1942, in Aurora, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Ray Junior Kyes and the late Maxine Marian Bieri.  She was a retiree of ATT.   After making Cottageville her home, she started volunteering at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro where over the years, she became a well-beloved member of the hospital’s family.   She was a member of Cottageville United Methodist Church and will always be remembered for her love of cooking and the wonderful ability she possessed at baking cakes.

Surviving are: two sons, Timothy Wade Moore and Wayne Andrew Moore; three daughters, Mari Maxine Moore, Judith Ann Moore, and Jennifer Rebecca Moore; two sisters, Mary Kay Kyes and Anna Marie McMahon; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her a sister, Judith Ann Gramme.
