Biography
Mrs. Lucy Elise Ettinger, 70, of North Charleston, entered into rest Sunday morning, March 30, 2014, at The Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg. She was the wife of the late Mr. Edward E. Ettinger.
Born August 19, 1942, a native of Charleston, she was a daughter of the late William Hampton Lee and the late Eunice Hudson Lee. She was retired from the quality control department of Starrett Hardware Division and was of the Baptist faith. She will be fondly remembered for her love of traveling.
Surviving are: her son, Robert Anthony Ray and his fiancé©e, Angie Carter of Walterboro; and two grandsons, James Ray and Preston Ray. She was one of three children, having a brother, Timothy Lee; and a sister, Dorothy Ann Lemacks.
A memorial service is planned for a later date to be announced.
