Luciana Rapue

Mrs. Luciana Rosini Rapue, 73, of Walterboro, entered into her eternal rest Sunday morning, June 5, 2011, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.
A celebration of her life will be celebrated at 6 o'clock Friday evening, June 10, 2011, from the Walterboro Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1035 Dandridge Road, Walterboro with President Leon Bryan presiding.
The family will receive friends following the ceremony until 8 o'clock that evening at the church.
Mrs. Rapue was born December 7, 1937, in Grosetto, Italy, and was a daughter of the late Roberto Rosini and the late Adina Pucci Rosini. She was a member of Walterboro Branch of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she was a member of the Relief Society and in earlier years had been active in many other aspects of the Branch's work. She has a special talent and skill at sewing, having crafted many eloquent quilts, which she lovingly shared with her family and close friends.
Surviving are: her husband of fifty years, Mr. Thomas Allen Rapue; a son, Thomas Allen "Tommy" Rapue, II and his wife Anne of Walterboro; and two daughters, Angela Waters and her husband James of Cottageville and Maria Redman of Walterboro. There are five grandchildren, Tavia Ware, Ashley Ware, Carmen Waters, J.T. Waters, and Jesse Rapue as well as four great grandchildren that also survive.
