Louise Futch

Mrs. Louise Ashworth Moore Futch, 85, of Ellis Street in Hampton, entered into her sate of eternal rest Friday morning, July 9, 2010, at the Unihealth Post Acute Care of the Lowcountry in Estill following an extended illness. She was the widow of Mr. Carson O. Moore and Mr. James Futch.



Funeral services will be conducted 3 oclock Sunday afternoon, July 11, 2010, from West End Baptist Church, 1049 Elm Street West, Hampton, with The Reverend Paul Creason and The Reverend Charles Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 15480 Pocotaligo Rd, Varnville.



Mrs. Futch was born June 16, 1925, in Ridgeway, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Robert Henry Ashworth, Sr. and the late Mamie Sue Osteen Ashworth. Mrs. Futch was a waitress having worked her career in various restaurants in Hampton, Estill, and Allendale. She was a member of West End Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School class and the Womens Missionary Union. She will fondly be recalled for her love of others, but especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.



Surviving are: a son, The Reverend Charles Wade Moore and his wife Sally of Hampton; and a daughter, Shirley Moore Altman and her husband Charles of Hampton. There are four grandchildren, Greg Moore and his wife Pam of Nixville, Melinda Bridgers and her husband Mark of Hampton, Crystal Altman of Hampton, and Mark Altman of Aiken; as well as six great grandchildren, Mark, Jr., Mitchell, Blair, Ansley, Meghan, and Asher that also survive.



Flowers will be accepted, or for those that wish, the family has suggested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to: West End Baptist Church, 1049 Elm Street West, Hampton, South Carolina 29924.
