Louise Beasley

Mrs. Louise Joyner Beasley, 84, of Walterboro, entered into her eternal rest Friday, August 18, 2017 at Colleton Medical Center.  She was the wife of the late Woodrow Wilson Beasley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock, Monday morning, August 21, 2017, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.

Born August 13, 1933 in Sylvania, Georgia, the last of 5 children, she was a daughter of the late LeRory Joyner and Catherine Johnson Joyner.  She had worked at Walterboro Dress Plant, Dukes Barbeque, and retired from the produce department at Bi-Lo Grocery Store.  She was a faithful and dedicated member of First Christ Church for 56 years, where she was a former Sunday School teacher and secretary for the Christian Women’s Fellowship.  She was currently attending Northside Christian Church.  Mrs. Louise was a renowned cook, who was still cooking up to two weeks before her death.  She dearly loved and supported her family, and always greeted everyone with her pleasant smile.

Surviving are: her sons, Jimmie Beasley and his wife Chris of Atlanta, Texas, Terrell Beasley of Walterboro, Gilbert Beasley and his wife Donna of Walterboro, and Kyle Beasley and his wife Sharon of Walterboro; son-in-law, John H. Stanfield, Jr. of Walterboro; step-daughter, Glennis Burke of Sardis, Georgia; grandchildren, Scott Beasley, Stephen Beasley, Austin Beasley, Billy Stanfield, Tammy Ard, Tabitha Williams, Ricky Bernardi, Joey Bernardi, Courtney Ross, and Amanda Altman; and great grandchildren, Taylor Stanfield, Tasha Peterson, Sean Peterson, Payton Rivers, Patton Rivers, Patrick Rivers, Blaine Ard, Matthew Ard, Johnathan Ard, Christian Beasley, Addison Beasley, Mary Kate Stanfield, Lauryn Stanfield, Christopher Hunt, Lauren Goette, Ashlynne Bernardi, Jaxson Bernardi, Trenton Satterfield, Owen Altman and Landon Altman.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Beasley Stanfield, daughter-in-law, Margie Martin Beasley; and grandsons, Gilbert Beasley and Mike Stanfield.
