Mrs. Lorene Kinard Sutcliff, 82, of Norway, entered into rest Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 oclock, Friday morning, February 6, 2015, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Adnah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Adnah Church Road, Islandton.
Born December 1, 1932 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Henry Miles Nettles and Martha OQuinn Nettles. She was a former member of Adnah United Methodist Church and had attended Bethany Baptist Church in Orangeburg. She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband. She loved working in her yard and garden, and was known for her green thumb. Most of all, she loved her family and friends and spending time with them.
Surviving are: her husband, Roland Sutcliff of Norway; children, Herbert Kinard, Jr. of Islandton, Audrey Kinard Tobin and her husband Rick of Walterboro, Keith Sutcliff of Orangeburg, Sherrie Price and her husband Jackson of Ehrhardt, and Kent Kinard of Islandton; brother, Jimmy Nettles of Sumter; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her beloved puppy, Mandy; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Herbert Kinard, Sr.; and a great grandson, Ethan Kinard McClary.
