Lois Barnes

Mrs. Lois Elizabeth Kinard Barnes, 85, of Kearse Road, Ehrhardt, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 20, 2012 at her residence. She was the widow of the late JW Barnes, Sr.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Johns Baptist Church, Ehrhardt. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Barnes was born June 29, 1927 in Fairfax and was a daughter of the late H.J. Kinard and Sadie Priester Kinard. She was a member of St. Johns Baptist Church.

Surviving are: her children, Berdie B. Maxwell (Maxie) of Cross, Peggy B. Stiltz (Richard) of Norway, JW Barnes (Donna) of Ehrhardt and Bobbie B. Price (Dean) of Ehrhardt; brother, Mack Lavern Kinard of Ehrhardt; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Jareida B. McKenzie and Bobby; brother, James Kinard; and a sister, Ina K. Fail.
