Linda Sheban

Mrs. Linda Lucas Sheban, 67, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2016, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born April 18, 1948 in Florida, she was a daughter of Mrs. Rudell Clark Morales and the late Clyde Ray Lucas.  Linda was a longtime employee of Belk Department Store in Walterboro, where over the years she became a familiar face to shoppers and was known by so many as a wonderful friend.  Following her time Belk, she started at the Walterboro Walmart where her strong work ethic and devotion to her job continued.  She loved animals, and will always be remembered for her love of stray animals and helping any animal that she could.

In October of 2013, Linda lost her only son, Joseph Sheban.  She is survived by her mother of Summerville and a brother, Robert Lucas as well as a dear and devoted cousin, Robin Jenkins.

The family requested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to: Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
